Ecstasio's 3D Gameplay Patch 09 v2.0, Completely reworked for FM09. Einstellungen

Here is my latest patch. I have worked hard on this the last few days and I think it has come along very nicely. I won't be releasing any more until the next official update OR until someone releases updated textures for the bigger pitch option.

This is a completely new config, obviously I got my ideas from my previous work but here I used a completely new set of values on an 09 clean set of files.

Basic description:

Increased forward play/offensive strikers.
Increased counter attack flow (the team moves as a team).
Keeper skills bias increased (keeper vs striker rating is now more important).
Tighter and more precise referee calls, although purposely never 100% perfect.
Optimized full back behaviour.
Player growth model tweaked.
More accurate passing.
Better marking by defenders.
Increased pressure by second defender.
Wider shot angles.
Dribble effectiveness increased.
Ball physics tweaked.
Faster response times on ball reception for all players including the keeper (should reduce/stop players from "thinking" for too long).
Improved back play option (no silly running back a mile).
Better (faster/stronger) long range kicks.
Realistic score lines.
A whole load of other minor adjustments......

bad news m8 i just went to try your patch and the game crashed on me
it wont work with the config file for some reason, other configs run fine?

It must have corrupted while uploading. It works fine for me I have tried it again. I have uploaded a new copy, hopefully it works fine. Please, download it again and let know

There where a couple of things I would like to change thoug.

It was i bit to much long shooting. I have changed that.

The other thing I have some problems with. When the player recieve a ball it very often bounces away from him, thats not very realistic. I would like to change that, but cant figure out where. Can you help me with that?

Sorry I have been really busy the last few days. I am glad you like the patch. I will look into close control a little more. The reason it is bouncing away I think might be due to the actual ball physics. I will let you know when I have done some more testing.

Hopefully the new official update will be with us soon and I can begin working around that.
